We are looking for a motivated and technically curious intern to join our operations team. This role is designed for a recent graduate who is eager to build a career in SAP Basis, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), automation, and AI-driven operations.
The ideal candidate will gain hands-on exposure to SAP system administration, automation tools like Ansible, and hyperscaler environments, while continuously learning and contributing to operational efficiency and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Basis & System Operations
- Assist in SAP Basis administration, including:
- System monitoring and health checks
- Background job monitoring
- Transport management
- User and role administration (under guidance)
- Support SAP system maintenance activities:
- Patching
- Refreshes
- Performance monitoring
- Learn SAP architecture (ECC / S/4HANA landscapes)
2. Automation & Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Learn and assist in using Ansible for:
- System automation
- Configuration management
- Repetitive operational task automation
- Support development of automation playbooks for:
- SAP operations
- OS-level tasks
- Monitoring and alerting
3. AI & Intelligent Operations
- Learn how AI tools and automation can enhance:
- Incident management
- Log analysis
- Operational efficiency
- Assist in evaluating and implementing:
- AI-based monitoring tools
- AI-assisted troubleshooting solutions
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, scripting) for productivity and optimization
4. Cloud & Hyperscaler Exposure (AWS / Azure)
- Gain hands-on exposure to:
- AWS or Azure infrastructure
- Virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Identity and access management
- Support SAP workloads hosted on cloud platforms
- Participate in cloud optimization and modernization initiatives
5. Continuous Learning & Development
- Actively pursue learning in:
- SAP Basis
- Automation tools
- Cloud technologies
- AI-driven IT operations
- Maintain documentation and best practices
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and technical curiosity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- Or related technical discipline
- Basic understanding of:
- Operating systems (Linux/Windows), Databases, Computer Networks
- Exposure to SAP Basis concepts (academic, internship, or self-learning)
- Exposure to Ansible or automation tools
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in enterprise IT
- Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in any hyperscaler, such as:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Associate
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher
- Google Cloud Fundamentals
- Hands-on or academic exposure to:
- SAP systems
- Ansible or similar automation tools
- Linux administration
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
- Familiarity with DevOps or cloud concepts

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
