Principal Business and Systems Analyst

HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Principal Business and Systems Analyst with more than 5 years of hands-on experience. You will be working with a high-performing agile team leading, designing and implementing AI/ML and business intelligence solutions for a Federal Regulatory agency.

This is a remote position for a Government client and requires US citizenship and ability to obtain public trust clearance.

Responsilities:

• Lead requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, and user stories
• Translates mission needs into system specifications and traceability
• Map workflows, data flows, dependencies, privileges, and operational risks
• Design and execute functional / integration tests; captures, triages, and reports findings
• Perform AI/ML model testing, data pipeline testing and maintain test documentation
• Create and maintain system documentation

Education, Experience and Skills
Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience with data analysis
• At least 5 years of experience as a hands-on Business and Systems Analyst.
• Proven Ability to develop requirements, write user-stories and other system documentation
• Experience with IT systems testing
• Ability to learn quickly and institutionalize technical knowledge
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users, the team, and leadership
• Innovative, results-oriented and focused on delivering on time and with quality

Preferred

• Experience working on machine learning and deep learning applications
• Experience in data cleansing techniques, feature engineering as well as model testing
• Experience working on Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate
• Experience working on projects involving cloud technology and services such as AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI
• Experience working with regulatory agencies such as OCC, SEC or FDIC
• Experience with Agile SDLC and tools
• Experience with methodologies such as CRISP-DM
