Dispensing Technician
Pay: $14.50Hr
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. Overtime is occasionally necessary.
Job Summary
The job of the Dispensing Technician entails preparing machines according to Standard Operating Procedures and using the production schedule to determine workday goals. The Dispensing Technician can expect to be cross-trained in multiple areas and will be expected to be able to start machines and follow Master Batch Records. The Dispensing Technician reports directly to the production lab supervisor. Work Activities- Prepare machines according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Review production schedule to determine what needs to be made for the day
- Clean lab equipment using the disinfectant of the month
- Start necessary lab machines
- Assist in dispensing components and labeling liquid components
- Set up each station with correct bottles, caps, tips and other materials
- Clean lab equipment and machines
- Rack bottles
- Sign and following Master Batch Records
Tools and Equipment Used
Microsoft Office Suite Job Context The job of the Dispensing Technician will be in a room and or under hood. Eye drops, gloves, and other necessary items will be provided for use if necessary. An employee in this position must be able to lift upwards of 25lbs. A typical workweek is Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00. Overtime is occasionally necessary with or without advance notice. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or EquivalentPrevious production or lab experience a plus
