Position: Front-End Developer

Falls Technology is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to support the development of secure, modern web applications for a high-impact federal program. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to create sleek, responsive UIs that deliver critical capabilities to mission users. This role blends deep technical skill with creativity and an eye for user experience—all within a dynamic cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build dynamic, responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular


• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and complex back-end services


• Develop in secure AWS environments and contribute to containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes


• Power real-time search capabilities using Elasticsearch


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring AI/ML capabilities to the user interface layer


• Ensure performance, accessibility, and security standards are met across all front-end code


• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular (v8+)


• Working knowledge of cloud-based application development, particularly within AWS


• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools


• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs


• Experience integrating or working alongside Elasticsearch


• Awareness of AI/ML concepts and the ability to interface with data-driven systems


• Comfortable working in an Agile team with version control tools like Git
