Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician
Liberty Community Programs is dedicated to providing high-quality support and services for individuals affected by substance use disorders. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of treatment services to clients struggling with addiction, supporting their journey toward recovery and wellness.
The Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician will assist in client assessments, facilitate group therapy sessions, and provide support during the treatment process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each client. Your commitment to promoting recovery and providing a safe and supportive environment will be key in helping our clients achieve lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ needs and progress.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, using evidence-based practices to support recovery.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team and clients.
- Monitor client behavior and progress, providing support and counseling as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Provide education and support to clients regarding substance use disorders, coping strategies, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements in all interactions.
Requirements
- Certification: Valid Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) certification.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in substance use treatment or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Compassion: A caring and empathetic approach to working with individuals facing challenges related to addiction.
