Group fitness CrossFit / Hyrox coach
CrossFit & Hybrid Fitness Coach – $35/hr
The Opportunity Join one of the longest-standing functional fitness communities in Northern Virginia. Established in 2007, CrossFit Tysons Corner is expanding! We are moving into a brand-new facility this May and are looking for high-energy coaches to lead our CrossFit and HYROX-style programming.
The Role
- Lead: Deliver engaging, technical CrossFit and Hybrid classes for adults (and kids' fitness where applicable).
- Coach: Provide high-touch movement corrections and scaling for a diverse membership.
- Grow: Opportunities for private training and specialized clinics with a flexible schedule.
- Commitment: Minimum of 8 classes per month.
What We Value (Qualifications)
- Athletic IQ: You understand movement. We hire for personality and coaching "eye" over paper certifications.
- Experience: 2+ years leading fitness classes (CrossFit, HIIT, or Strength & Conditioning).
- Presence: Proven ability to command a room, motivate athletes, and foster an inclusive environment.
- Communication: Professional, clear, and proactive—both on the floor and online.
Details
- Pay: $35.00 per hour.
- Location: Vienna, VA 22182 (Must be able to commute).
- Schedule: Part-time with room for growth.
- Certs: CF-L1 or equivalent is a plus, but not required for the right candidate. We value your ability to coach.
