Position Overview

As the Host/Hostess at 8020 Eatery Lounge, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire dining and lounge experience. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth flow of service, supporting our ghost kitchen concept, and creating a welcoming, seamless environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Greeting & Seating
  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Assist guests with seating arrangements, ensuring comfort and flow within the lounge.
• Ordering Assistance
  • Guide customers through the ordering process using kiosks and QR codes.
  • Step in to manually input orders when necessary to ensure a smooth transaction.
  • Troubleshoot any technical or ordering issues promptly.
• Service & Guest Experience
  • Monitor guest needs during their visit and provide attentive support.
  • Deliver food and beverages when required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve service quality.
• Cleanliness & Organization
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house environment, including lobby, tables, and kiosks.
  • Assist in clearing tables and resetting spaces for incoming guests.
• Team Support
  • Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Communicate guest concerns or special requests clearly to the team.
• Other Duties as Needed
  • Assist with light administrative tasks such as reservations or event guest lists.
  • Support lounge events and theme nights by welcoming guests and promoting activities.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management to ensure excellent operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-friendly and comfortable using kiosks, QR codes, and POS systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and customer-first mindset.
• Prior experience in hosting, food service, or customer service preferred but not required.
