Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
Job Description
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will utilize various measurement tools and equipment to assess the dimensions and features of incoming materials. Your evaluations will be compared against established data packages, and you will document any nonconforming materials. You may also be called upon to present nonconformance reports to the Material Review Board (MRB) and support supplier quality initiatives such as SCARs, on-site inspections, and supplier audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Assist the quality team in maintaining and improving quality control systems and procedures.
- Inspection & Testing: Conduct detailed inspections of electro-mechanical parts, assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, machined components, and composite materials to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough records of inspections, tests, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
- Supplier Quality Support: Collaborate with suppliers to verify the quality of incoming materials and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- - Relevant technical diploma or Associate’s degree preferred; hands-on inspection experience utilizing metrology equipment will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- - Experience inspecting electro-mechanical parts and assemblies, including printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, machined components, and composite materials is highly desirable.
- - Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- - Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- - High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in aerospace manufacturing.
- - Familiarity with productivity software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is a plus.
- - Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) is advantageous.
- - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality assurance in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. If you are detail-oriented, quality-focused, and eager to support high standards in aerospace production, we encourage you to apply.
