Bach to Rock Herndon is a performance based music school offering private lessons, group classes, ensembles, camps, events, and early childhood programs. Our students learn in a structured but modern environment designed to build real musical skills and confidence. About This Position
We are hiring a Piano Teacher for private lessons. This role is ideal for someone who values professionalism, structure, and measurable student progress. Students range from true beginners through intermediate musicians and occasionally advanced students depending on your background. Key Responsibilities
- Teach 30 and 60 minute private piano lessons.
- Establish strong fundamentals in reading, rhythm, technique, and musical understanding
- Assign clear weekly practice goals
- Support recitals and performance opportunities
- Maintain reliable scheduling and attendance
- Strong piano proficiency across beginner through intermediate levels at minimum.
- Teaching experience and or youth leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working with kids and families.
- Reliable transportation to our location.
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule, especially weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.

- Part-time, hourly; hours vary by enrollment.
- Peak: weekday afternoons/evenings + Saturdays.
- Tiered pay: $17$22/hr (Tier 13) .
