Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused MRI Tech Aide to join our busy outpatient MRI Center in Reston, Virginia In this vital support role, you’ll assist MRI Technologists with non-clinical tasks, help clarify physician orders, and ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience. - 4-day workweek - every weekend is a 3-day weekend

As an MRI Tech Aide, you will:
- Provide outstanding service to patients and families while explaining MRI procedures clearly and compassionately
- Set up MRI suites for exams and assist patients with safe transfers to and from imaging tables
- Start IV access prior to procedures
- Ensure patient comfort, modesty, and safety throughout the imaging process
- Communicate with physician offices to clarify and complete MRI orders
- Confirm critical exam details including body part, laterality, and contrast use
- Request order modifications when appropriate to support accurate imaging workflows
- 1+ years of experience in a medical or radiology office preferred
- IV start experience highly preferred
- Experience in one of the following roles preferred:
- Medical Assistant
- MRI / CT Tech Aide
- ED Tech
- EMT or Paramedic
- Nursing Student (after first clinical rotation)
- BLS certification required upon hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor
