Job Summary

This role p erforms routine testing on all samples in the Analytical Services laboratory, providing analytical data for process control, quality control, process development, product development, and waste management. Supports a 24-hour laboratory operation.
Job Description
- Perform routine analytical testing following approved protocols and work instructions.
- Work eight-hour shifts with rotating days every three to four months, including weekends and holidays.
- Prepare solutions, clean glassware, and properly dispose of solid and liquid waste.
- Train others in waste management procedures.
- Request additional tasks to support team productivity.
- Notify lab leadership of issues related to sample integrity, safety, inventory, or analytical discrepancies.
- Communicate troubleshooting opportunities and testing process improvements.
- Conduct basic preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments.
- Identify and communicate equipment and operational issues tied to KPIs.
- Operate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), and other instrument-specific software.
- Search databases for test methods, specifications, and standards.
- Accurately record, calculate, review, and report analytical results.
- Complete data entry for metrics and KPIs.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate testing results to internal or external customers as required.
- Monitor supply and consumable levels and notify leads when critical.
- Follow safety, housekeeping, and laboratory compliance standards.
- Participate in lab and site safety programs and cross-site initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of RCRA hazardous waste regulations and reporting procedures.
Skills Required
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to analyze results against standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot routine instrument issues with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma plus a minimum of one (1) year of laboratory experience.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Work schedule : 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Willingness to work rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Local candidates only.
- Preferred: Three (3) or more years of laboratory experience.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of HPLC and GC operations.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $15.00 to $22.94 per hour based on qualifications.
