Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:

• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

• Must have flexibility to work either shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Clamp Truck Operator to support production operations at our Doswell, VA facility. This role is critical to ensuring materials are properly staged, packaged, moved, and stored to maintain efficient production flow across shifts. The ideal candidate has forklift or clamp truck experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate clamp trucks to safely move and transport paper rolls.

• Stage rolls for Rewinder 4 and Rewinder 5 according to the posted production schedule.

• Cut, prepare, and notch cores as required for scheduled orders, ensuring correct plugs and specifications.

• Package finished materials from rewinders, including required stenciling.

• Weigh, tag, and store finished goods in the correct AX system locations.

• Safely operate all Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) in accordance with company and OSHA standards.

• Stage materials for incoming shifts to support seamless production transitions.

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in Building 3 and Building 1 finished goods warehouse .

• Inspect finished goods for defects or damage prior to shipment.

• Transport rolls between Building 1 and rewinder areas as needed.

• Perform housekeeping duties in R4/R5 areas and other assigned locations.

• Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and material movement records.

• Learn and assist with the operation of Rewinders 4 and 5 as needed for coverage and advancement.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.

• Forklift and/or clamp truck experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to follow production schedules and detailed work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
