Job Description

As a Security Professional - Telecom Facility Patrol in Sandston, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech-focused location, you will conduct routine security-related patrols and remain highly visible to help deter incidents and respond to situations as needed. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity in and around technology and media facilities.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives, as appropriate.
• Monitor premises for unusual activity and report security-related concerns promptly.
• Work in environments typical of technology, media, and telecommunications locations, adapting to varying site conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
