Premium Billing Specialist

Title: Premium Billing Specialist
Setting: Hybrid (Onsite training followed by hybrid schedule based on business needs)
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Training begins onsite for approximately four weeks, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule based on successful completion of training and business needs (not guaranteed).
Pay: $23.00-$25.96/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Typically 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexibility to work until 6:00 PM during peak enrollment periods)

• Overtime, including occasional evenings or weekends, may be required during peak enrollment periods.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Premium Billing Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance, or banking who enjoy solving complex financial issues in a fast-paced environment. The position focuses on account reconciliation, payment processing, billing analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance, banking, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred

• Experience in banking, accounting, healthcare, insurance, or revenue cycle operations.
• Knowledge of government billing policies or grace period regulations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
