The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an individual to fill the position of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Adult Detention Center. This individual is an essential member of the healthcare team, actively contributing to patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN provides guidance and support in patient education and activities, consistent with their training and demonstrated competencies.

This position follows a 2-2-3 work schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with every other weekend off, offering a predictable rotation and excellent work-life balance.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active licensure as an LPN in the state of Virginia
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience
• Must obtain/maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications

The salary range is $52,936 – $66,404 based on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, as outlined below.
