Job Description
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Director - Assistant Controller / Internal Reporting to lead global accounting operations, consolidation, and financial close activities across a complex, multi-entity organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, while helping drive enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple global entities, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate reporting.
- Own and manage the global close calendar and all related deliverables.
- Maintain and continuously enhance the company's Chart of Accounts to support scalability and transparency.
- Partner closely with the Tax team on transfer pricing and intercompany accounting matters.
- Oversee the global consolidation process, including review and approval of elimination and consolidation entries.
- Ensure consistent application of corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and governance standards worldwide.
- Prepare and distribute consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and lead audit coordination activities.
- Partner with regional finance leaders, business units, and corporate functions to support reporting and compliance.
- Provide leadership over the global Record-to-Report function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of controllers and accounting professionals.
- Collaborate with Technology and Finance Transformation teams to automate, standardize, and modernize reporting processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance data quality, and strengthen reporting controls.
- Support enterprise-wide projects, including system implementations, reorganizations, integrations, and operational transformations.

The Successful Applicant
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience within complex, multi-entity organizations.
- Demonstrated experience leading global consolidations and preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidation methodologies.
- Proven experience supporting organizational, operational, or systems transformations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging senior leadership and Audit Committees.
- Experience with Oracle and Alteryx strongly preferred.
