Position Overview:
A Regional Director (RD) is a branch officer and the senior Retro manager at the branch level. The RD is responsible for implementing branch business objectives, establishing effective day-to-day branch operations, and managing branch personnel.
Reporting Relationships:
A RD reports to the Director of Operations. The RD works with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) & Preconstruction Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Vision of the branch and strategy with the support of the COO and DO.
- Operates within the annual budget.
- Responsible for right people/right seats for the branch.
- Responsible for ensuring staffing needs of the branch are met.
- Responsible for branch accounts payable and receivables.
- Responsible for the well-being of branch employees and the public.
- Responsible for safeguarding the company's reputation and for maintaining brand quality.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the branch.
- Executes contracts, or other commitments in value less than $1,000,000.
- Sells, transfer, exchange, or otherwise dispose of company assets in value less than $35,000.
- Approves capital expenditures in value less than $10,000.
- Submits company employee bonus recommendations for the Director of Operations for approval.
- Encourages subordinate personal and professional development.
- Responsible for the office safety and security policy at the branch level.
- Manages fleet vehicles and capital assets at the branch level.
- Responsible for company IT and cybersecurity policies at the branch level.
- Responsible for implementation and management of the RA Holdings environmental, safety, and health program at the branch level.
- Coordinates with safety director on training required for employees.
- Responsible for maintaining branch back log and coordinating with branch estimator/estimating team on procurement of work.
- Attends project meetings when required for the project needs additional guidance.
Weekly Tasks:
- Reviews corporate accounts payable. Selects vendor invoices for payment and submits to the Controller.
- Conducts branch Level 10 meetings.
- Conducts branch Operation Meeting with branch Project Managers and Operations Managers.
Monthly Tasks:
- Supervises and participates in monthly financial closing activities.
- Responsible for branch back log and work projections
Quarterly & Annual Tasks:
- Participates in 3 quarterly and 1 annual EOS meeting.
- Performs Quarterly Conversations and annual review of direct subordinates.
