Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Dumfries, VA, serving a school district with a focus on comprehensive case management and therapeutic services. This contract position offers a caseload primarily consisting of middle school students, with some elementary cases, providing a dynamic and rewarding professional experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to approximately 55 students from middle and elementary school levels.
• Manage caseload efficiently using a workload model, ensuring individualized support and intervention plans.
• Maintain detailed case documentation and participate actively in IEP meetings and planning.
• Collaborate with educational staff and participate in paid team meetings.
• Provide or receive necessary supervision in alignment with district protocols.
• Utilize district IEP systems with provided training and perform duties within dedicated therapy spaces.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP credentials, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
• Ability to manage caseloads and document progress according to educational regulations.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school personnel.
• Familiarity with educational therapeutic environments and IEP processes.
