DC / Richmond and Cville Sales Representative
Job Description:
Bravo Wine Imports is an established VA based wine importer & distributor specialized in fine Italian wines. We are currently seeking a qualified, self-motivated and experienced sales representative for a full-time or part-time position. The goal is to build and expand our presence in the DC and in the Richmond and Charlottesville areas by maintaining existing accounts and opening new ones, selling our line of quality small-estate wines to restaurants and shops.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales representative to build their career with a well-organized, fast growing and dynamic importer/distributor in one of the most exciting fine wine markets in the world. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS: • Self-motivated, independent thinker with a high standard of success.• Minimum 2-year experience in the wine industry
• Medium to advanced knowledge of wine and the industry
• Must reside in the Richmond/Charlottesville area or DC area depending on which city you want to work for.
• Open new accounts and continually service, manage, and grow those accounts.
• Strong analytical approach to sales strategy and execution
• Must visit at least 50+ accounts per week
• Ability to prioritize your time and approach individual accounts with an appropriate wine selection.
• Existing accounts are a plus
• Work closely with the Sales Manager
• Able to work nights and weekends when needed
• Organize and conduct wine tastings, dinners and events for trade and consumers
• Fluency in Italian and Spanish a plus but not required
• Able to lift 35 pounds
• Must have own car, computer and smart phone
• Must be 21 or older
