Electrical Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for mission critical and data center projects.
• Work directly with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Oversee construction administration tasks, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Review and provide feedback on electrical testing reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Perform engineering analyses, evaluations, and research studies on facilities of varying sizes.
• Prepare detailed reports on design, construction, maintenance, and operational issues within facility systems.
• Provide technical support to engineering and technical staff in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electrical equipment, including switchgear, controllers, and power distribution systems.
• Conduct field surveys to assess and document existing project conditions.
• Consult with internal teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors regarding product quality and technology advancements.
• Lead and mentor engineers and technical personnel in the development and execution of complex projects.
• Inspect electrical construction work in progress and upon completion to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on mission critical/data center projects.
• Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage construction administration tasks.
• Experience reviewing electrical testing reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and SKM software.
• Knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with both in-office and remote work flexibility.
