Electrical Engineer III

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for mission critical and data center projects.
- Work directly with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee construction administration tasks, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Review and provide feedback on electrical testing reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Perform engineering analyses, evaluations, and research studies on facilities of varying sizes.
- Prepare detailed reports on design, construction, maintenance, and operational issues within facility systems.
- Provide technical support to engineering and technical staff in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electrical equipment, including switchgear, controllers, and power distribution systems.
- Conduct field surveys to assess and document existing project conditions.
- Consult with internal teams, manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors regarding product quality and technology advancements.
- Lead and mentor engineers and technical personnel in the development and execution of complex projects.
- Inspect electrical construction work in progress and upon completion to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on mission critical/data center projects.
- Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles.
- Proven ability to lead design teams and manage construction administration tasks.
- Experience reviewing electrical testing reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and SKM software.
- Knowledge of engineering codes and standards.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with both in-office and remote work flexibility.
