TWC Global Services is hiring a Senior Jira Administrator for a long-term contractual engagement with one of our direct enterprise clients . This is a hands-on Jira administration role , ideal for someone who has owned and supported Jira environments in complex, regulated settings. Candidates with healthcare or health insurance domain experience are strongly preferred.

Job Title: Jira Administrator

Location: Remote (Canada-based candidates only)

Role Overview

This position focuses on day-to-day and strategic Jira administration . The role is not centered on project coordination or Agile facilitation, but on maintaining a stable, well-governed Jira platform that supports multiple delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Jira Cloud , including Jira Software and Jira Service Management
• Configure and maintain projects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and notification schemes
• Set up and manage portfolio and program-level Jira hierarchies using Advanced Roadmaps and/or Jira Align
• Create and maintain automation rules , dashboards, filters, and JQL-based reports
• Manage Jira integrations with external systems such as Clarity PPM , MS Project (Ceptah Bridge) , and other collaboration or reporting tools
• Administer and support Jira plugins/apps (Xray, Easy BI, Clockwork, Timesheets, etc.)
• Support Jira Align integrations or migrations as needed
• Manage user access, security controls, backup and recovery , and platform governance
• Administer Confluence spaces and support documentation standards
• Provide advanced Jira support , troubleshooting configuration, automation, and integration issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience with Jira configuration, automation, and reporting
• Experience with portfolio or program-level Jira setups
• Practical experience integrating Jira with external systems (Clarity PPM preferred)
• Working knowledge of REST APIs or webhooks for Jira integrations
• Experience with Confluence administration
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience in the healthcare, health insurance, or other regulated domains
• Experience supporting environments with compliance, audit, or data-governance requirements
