Investment Consultant (Institutional Retirement Plans) Location: Hybrid - Boston, MA or Richmond, VA Travel: Approximately 10% SageView Advisory Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Consultant to join our national Institutional Retirement Consulting Team. This is a great opportunity to deepen your investment expertise while working alongside a high-performing team that supports retirement plan sponsors across the country. What You'll Do As a key member of our consulting team, you'll: Prepare and deliver investment review reports focused on fund performance, plan health, and investment menu structure. Support research initiatives and help develop investment recommendations, including topics like ESG trends, target date fund evaluations, and CIT structures. Collaborate with senior consultants and our internal research team to ensure accuracy and alignment with firm methodology. Use tools such as Morningstar Direct and Envestnet to support fund analysis and monitor investment products. Participate in client meetings and contribute to delivering high-quality investment insights. What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience in financial services, ideally in investment consulting, asset management, or institutional retirement plans. Familiarity with investment products common to retirement plans, such as mutual funds, CITs, and stable value options. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Experience using Morningstar Direct, Envestnet, or similar platforms (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Progress toward credentials such as CFA, CFP, or CIMA is a plus.
