Best Life Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is the leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine in the Hampton Roads Area with four locations. We have a dynamic team of experts who not only deliver cutting-edge treatment but also do it with compassion and a desire to improve the life of each individual patient.

We are looking for an energetic self-starter for a Patient Care Coordinator role to work in a physical-therapist-owned outpatient ortho/sports medicine clinic. Our approach to patient care stands apart from other clinics.

The position would be Part Time at our Potters Rd location

Responsibilities:

• Front office duties such as check-in/check-out patients for appointments; scheduling appointments; collecting payments; answering a multi-line phone; managing day-to-day front office duties; collect and processing insurance information.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service behavior and excellent public relations skills in all aspects of work.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with medical administration/insurance filing is not required but would be fantastic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• A passion for helping people is a must.
• Accuracy in grammar and punctuation.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to learn tasks quickly with minimal training and supervision.
• Flexibility with shifting priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Exhibits customer service-oriented behavior and excellent public relations skills in all aspects of work.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse community and provide services from a non-judgmental perspective.

Must be able to work the following

• Monday 3pm-7pm
• Tuesday 3pm-7pm
• Wednesday 3pm-7pm
• Thursday 3pm-7pm
• Friday OFF
