Cloud Technical Project Manager (TPM)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver cloud-based projects across multiple teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), excellent project management skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.

Fully remote position available to residents in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MS, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV.

Travel up to 10%

You Will Provide:

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end delivery of cloud migration, modernization, and deployment projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to define requirements and ensure alignment.
• Cloud Expertise: Provide guidance on cloud architecture, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation; monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to cloud governance, compliance standards, and security best practices.
• Reporting: Deliver regular status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and cost savings in cloud environments.
• Risk Management: Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

You Have:

• Proven work experience in enterprise level IT project management involving developing project plans, task tracking, coaching, leading teams, process improvement, planning, and performance management.
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with various IT system development and service methodologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Must Haves:

• Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in technical project management with at least 3 years in cloud-related projects.
• Certifications: PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We would be impressed if you have experience with:

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools.
• Knowledge of Data Analytics Tools
