Job Type: Part-Time Wednesday - Thursday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. & Saturday - Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (This position will each of these shifts on a weekly basis.)

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Part-Time Residential Visitation Specialist to facilitate and supervise visitations between children and their families in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of the children during these visits while supporting positive family interactions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Facilitate and supervise visitations between children and their families in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for families during visitations.
- Monitor interactions, ensuring that visitations remain positive and constructive.
- Document observations of family interactions and any concerns regarding safety or well-being.
- Communicate effectively with families, providing guidance and support to enhance family interactions.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop visitation plans tailored to individual family needs.
- Assist in conflict resolution during visits as necessary, promoting a constructive atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and agency policies.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development as required.

**Qualifications:**
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in stressful situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Familiarity with child welfare regulations and family dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks and safety assessments.

**Schedule:**
- Part-time position with consitent and set hours.
- Approximately 10 hours per week.
