Structural Ironworker — Manassas, VA
We’re seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team in Manassas, VA . This is a physically demanding position that requires balance, stamina, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble structural steel, stairways, handrails, and guardrails
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform layout, cutting, welding, bolting, and rigging tasks
- Work at heights and operate lifts, scaffolding, and related equipment
- Ensure jobsite safety, proper tool use, and compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with foremen and team members to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physical strength, stamina, and balance for demanding tasks
- Experience as a Structural Ironworker (stairways & railings required)
- Ability to read structural drawings and take accurate measurements
- License or certifications required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and general safety procedures
- Good coordination, depth perception, problem-solving skills, and teamwork mindset
