Automotive Service Technician

Are you tired of the same old same old? Magic City Auto Group is seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our team. Our Service Technicians can earn up to $50.00 per hour!! We have four convenient locations in Roanoke, Lexington, Covington, and Bedford Virginia! The ideal Automotive Service Technician candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work on various vehicle systems, including powertrains and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and recommend necessary repairs to customers.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repairs.

Skills

• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in powertrain systems.
• Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
• Experience in diesel engine repair is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
