Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient nursing care to residents under supervision and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects, documenting changes accurately.
- Measure and chart vital signs; recognize and report acute changes in patient condition promptly.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and restorative care as directed.
- Participate in care planning, patient education, and ensure proper handoff communications during shift changes.
- Maintain infection control practices, safety standards, and compliant documentation per facility policy.

Requirements
- Active LPN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for practice in Virginia.
- Ability to perform general nursing duties within a long-term care setting.
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours as specified.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Able to complete required screenings and background checks as part of the assignment process.
