Job Summary:
Community Lodgings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the City of Alexandria, is seeking a Bilingual Site Manager with experience overseeing 45 housing units. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of property services and office management, maintaining the units in proper condition, and delivering high-quality customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely rent collection.
- Maintain monthly rent rolls and prepare delinquency reports.
- Process and manage resident correspondence.
- Tenant Relations & Property Management:
- Conduct tenant move-in and move-out inspections.
- Process applications, income certifications, and annual re-certifications.
- Monitor key reporting dates to comply with regulatory agreements.
- Supervise maintenance personnel on-site.
Operations & Maintenance
- Plan and direct the daily operations of the property.
- Develop and implement annual operation and capital improvement budgets.
- Prepare monthly management and financial reports.
- Manage vendors and contracts related to property services.
- Oversee contractors and third-party vendors performing routine and ad hoc maintenance.
Administrative & Customer Service
- Perform front desk duties, including handling walk-ins, responding to phone calls, and addressing general inquiries.
- Ensure cleanliness of all office areas.
- Process invoices and maintain organized storage room areas.
- Prepare monthly reports as required.
Minimum Requirements
Education : An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience of 5 years in affordable or tax credit site management.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Leasing Consultant or Community Manager with a proven track record in cooperative management, effective communication, marketing, project management, and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of the local Virginia apartment market and Fair Housing regulations.
Skills & Technology
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to draft clear and concise correspondence with minimal supervision.
Availability
· Available on call to address after-hours emergencies.
· On-call weekends
Language
- Bilingual – English/Spanish is a MUST.

Expected Hours: 40 per week
Day shift: Monday to Friday
