We are currently seeking a Summer Intern to support operations in Fairfax, Va.

What You’ll Do

As a Summer Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations that enable U.S. government missions and Cambridge corporate initiatives. You will:

• Assist with financial data entry, analysis, and reporting

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Help reconcile financial records and spreadsheets

• Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis for government contracts

• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation

• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field

Technical Expertise:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications preferred

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Interest in government contracting or public sector finance

• Prior internship, coursework, or experience in finance or accounting

Work Environment

• Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil .

Office setting:

• Primarily an office-based role in Fairfax, VA

• Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site

• Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.

• Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

• May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.

• Drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance
