Job Description:

As a System Analyst at Midwestern IT , you will play a crucial role in analysing business needs, identifying solutions, and optimizing our processes and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that improve performance and support business goals. Analyse financial performance and prepare reports on trends, forecasts, and variances.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Develop dashboards and financial models to provide strategic insights to management.

Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse current business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.

Gather and document functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.

Design and recommend system solutions, workflows, and enhancements.

Collaborate with software developers, network teams, and other IT staff to implement solutions.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for system upgrades or replacements.

Prepare technical reports, user manuals, and system documentation.

Perform system testing and validation procedures.

Assist in training users and providing ongoing technical support.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Ensure solutions comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of system architecture, databases, and business process modelling.

Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in tools like MS Visio, Jira, SQL, or ERP systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, retail, etc.].

Knowledge of data analytics, cloud computing, or cybersecurity is a plus.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMP, ITIL) are advantageous.
