We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking Installer to join our installation crew. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy hands-on work, and want to build a long-term career with growth potential, we’d love to meet you.

Position Overview:

As an Installer, you’ll assist in the preparation and installation of our industry-leading concrete floor coating systems. You’ll work as part of a professional crew under the direction of a Crew Lead, learning the trade from the ground up. No prior concrete coating experience is necessary — we provide paid, hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with surface preparation including diamond grinding and vacuuming

• Help with crack repairs & fixes.

• Mix and help apply polyurea base coats, flake broadcast, and polyaspartic top coats

• Load and unload materials and tools

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

• Learn and follow the Fortress Floors Virginia installation process

• Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional appearance and attitude

• Safely operate basic hand tools and power equipment

• Support the crew in daily tasks and assist with setup and cleanup

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required – we’ll train the right person!

• Willingness to learn a skilled trade and work hard

• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude

• Reliable transportation to job sites or shop location

• Valid driver’s license

Typical Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, typically starting at 6:30 AM

• Occasional overtime or weekends during busy season

• Projects throughout Central Virginia
