Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Perform and oversee tax planning and projections
• Conduct tax research and draft resolutions and correspondence
• Ensure timely, accurate filing of federal, state, and local returns
• Maintain high quality standards and compliance practices
• Support special tax projects and internal firm initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and clients
• Manage client information and communication

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (or actively pursuing)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in public accounting with tax focus
• Proficiency in UltraTax, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
• Knowledge of federal/state tax laws and GAAP
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and planning abilities
• Effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate across teams
