This full-time contract position offers you the chance to support students in achieving their communication and language goals while collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Active Speech Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or be completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or strong interest in educational or school-based SLP settings
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students reach their communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Provide guidance and strategies for classroom teachers to facilitate language-rich environments
