Job Summary
PMG is looking for a driven, high-energy Wholesale Fuel Sales Representative to grow our footprint across New England by winning new business, building relationships with independent operators, and expanding branded and unbranded fuel supply accounts. This is an outside sales role for a true hunter—someone who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, canvassing, opening doors, and turning opportunities into long-term customer partnerships. The right candidate will be motivated by uncapped earning potential, comfortable managing a sales funnel, and energized by the challenge of developing territory while also supporting customer relationships, pricing, billing, and account management in a fast-paced fuel distribution environment.
Location: New England Territory – MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME
Requirements:What You'll Do
- Prospect aggressively for new branded and unbranded fuel supply business throughout New England.
- Build and manage a strong sales funnel through cold calling, canvassing, referrals, partnerships, and other prospecting strategies.
- Develop new business relationships with target customers and grow market share by bringing on new wholesale supplied sites.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through strong account management and customer service.
- Support day-to-day business activities including pricing, billing, credit, logistics, and customer communication.
- Stay current on fuel brands, industry trends, market activity, and competitive developments.
- Learn PMG’s branded and unbranded fuel supply programs, procedures, and partner marketing programs.
- Attend trade shows and association meetings as needed.
- Achieve sales goals established by leadership and help expand PMG’s footprint across the region.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of sales experience with a strong focus on new business development and account management.
- Outside sales experience and a proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new business.
- Fuel distribution, petroleum, jobber, or related industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management and account development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in fuel supply / distribution / dealer network environment.
- Convenience store and/or gas station operations experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft Office/business applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the New England territory during the workweek. Must currently reside within the region to be considered.
