• Monday - Friday: 8:50am - 5:05pm.
• Saturday: 8:50am - 1:05pm.
• During holidays, espeically Valentine's Day & Mother's Day you will be expected to work more / longer hours. If you are working on a Saturday you will either have a half day or full day off depending on the week.

Job Responsibilities: As a Trainee Customer Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a multitude of tasks that can vary depending on the day. Duties assigned are as follows:

• Assisting in-store, walk-in, online, and phone customers with orders, order-related questions, flower, and plant questions.
• Scheduling sales staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintaining multiple screens to ensure all communication channels are covered with customer service.
• Inputting orders from other partner company websites into our system.
• Reviewing time cards for sales to mitigate overtime.
• Delegating tasks to sales staff and holding the sales team accountable for not following guidelines highlighted in sales documents.
• Handling customer concerns with guidance from the administrative team.
• Assisting in filling plant orders, pulling and tagging orders, and wrapping bouquets.
• Keeping the storefront appealing for walk-in customers, clean and neat.
• Keeping inventory on shelves.
• Custodial work, in relation to keeping common areas clean.

Qualifications :

• Customer-Focused: A passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. You should also have a friendly, approachable personality.
• Selling products: Actively engage customers to understand their preferences and offer personalized floral solutions. Promote and upsell additional products or complementary items to enhance the customer experience. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective product knowledge and persuasive communication.
• Communication: Both written and verbal is important.
• Knowledge of flowers and plants: It is important to have a passion for flowers and an appreciation for their beauty. You must also be able to know and describe colors accurately.
• Attention to detail: Accuracy is paramount with all George's Flowers Team members.
• Memory Recall: Follow-up and the ability to remember are critical in this position. You will often be asked for specifics and details about orders you took.
• Comfortable and efficient with technology: We have been using technology since our first Radio Shack 1984 TRS 80 Model 2000 with a price tag of $5K and a whole 10MB of hard disk storage. George's Flowers has moved way beyond those days as an early technology adopter. You should be able to utilize multiple monitor displays and take smartphone images.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 to apply.
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work as part of a small, collaborative team.
• Commitment to cleanliness and following company guidelines.
• Previous experience in a flower shop or a similar role is a plus, but not required.
