Position Summary
Gardeners fulfill online and delivery orders, ensuring products are accurately picked, labeled, packaged, and delivered in compliance with all regulations. They are the final connection point with customers and must uphold safety, professionalism, and compliance at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill online and delivery orders following the Order Ahead and Delivery SOPs.
- Verify product information, exit labels, and packaging before leaving the store.
- Deliver orders to customers safely and courteously, verifying ID and collecting payment as required.
- Use digital systems to manage delivery assignments and document each step of the route.
- Maintain the vehicle and delivery equipment in clean, compliant condition.
- Communicate promptly with Plant Managers about delays, route changes, or customer issues.
- Assist with in-store tasks as needed (inventory counts, stocking, cleaning).
Compliance & Farm Bill Duties
- Ensure all products delivered meet necessary requirements.
- Follow all ID verification and delivery manifest protocols.
- Safely secure and account for all products and payments in transit.
Schedule
- Morning Shift: 6:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.
- Evening Shift: 2:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.
Other Expectations
- Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.
- Comfortable using technology.
- Ability to handle cash and card transactions securely while on route.
