A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Virginia Beach, VA, offering flexible workdays throughout June 2026. This role requires professional independence, as the pharmacist will be responsible for managing the pharmacy alone during scheduled shifts. The position is ideal for a pharmacist with solid retail experience and proficiency in PioneerRx Pharmacy software.
Schedule:
- Thursday, 6/4/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday, 6/5/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Thursday, 6/18/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Friday, 6/19/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently oversee daily pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
- Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Utilize PioneerRx Pharmacy software for dispensing and record-keeping
- Manage inventory and ensure the accuracy of medication stocking
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Experience with PioneerRx Pharmacy software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently during solo shifts
