Overnight Mechanic - Hilton McLean Tysons Corner

The iconic Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is seeking a full-time overnight mechanic to join their property operations team! This beautiful, 458-room hotel is in the heart of Fairfax County's business district and is five minutes from the Metro Silver Line!

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' commercial building maintenance experience, including technical skills to work on fire/life safety, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler/chiller, kitchen, laundry, and pool equipment.

Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work the overnight shift any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $30.01 per hour, plus $1.40 differential for overnight

What will I be doing?

As an Overnight Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
