Assistant Event Manager - Entry Level | Paid Training Provided

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Manager . This entry-level position includes paid training and offers a valuable opportunity to build a foundation in event management. You’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of events while developing skills in leadership, communication, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown

• Support the Event Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and resource management

• Help oversee event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth onsite operations

• Engage with attendees to provide information, answer questions, and enhance their experience

• Assist in designing, preparing, and distributing event and promotional materials

• Monitor event activities and address issues promptly to maintain event quality

• Provide administrative support, including creating reports and tracking event performance

• Work closely with the team to brainstorm, build, and implement event strategies

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

• Genuine interest in event planning, marketing, or promotions

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

• Prior event experience is a plus, but not required

• Degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required
