Position Summary:
After-School Program Leaders will work directly with students in the after-school program, helping them develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills. Leaders will work with the Director to provide structured programming and recreational activities while ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. They will work under the direction of the Crozet Sports executive team and will be responsible for monitoring student behavior, enforcing program rules, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise groups of students in a variety of settings (classroom, playground, library, etc.) to ensure safety and participation.

• Implement programming and recreational activities that promote learning and engagement.

• Enforce program rules and procedures regarding student behavior and participation.

• Provide a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all students.

• Assist with record keeping and clerical tasks, including form preparation, attendance tracking, and phone calls.

• Support students in achieving academic, physical, and social development goals.

• Collaborate with the executive team to ensure program quality and smooth operation.

Qualifications:

• Positive, nurturing, and energetic personality with a passion for youth development.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to supervise and manage groups of students effectively.

• Experience in academic, recreational, or youth programming is a plus but not required.

• Reliable, responsible, and professional in all interactions.

• Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction from program leadership.
