The Network Cable Technician plays a critical role in installing and maintaining network cabling systems primarily in commercial buildings, data centers, and industrial sites. Working within a small team, this role ensures that network installations meet quality standards and operate efficiently to support organizational communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Install network cables according to specifications and site requirements
- Conduct system testing to verify cable integrity and performance
- Document installation processes and update network schematics
- Provide technical support to customers regarding network cabling issues
