Job Overview We are seeking a motivated aSales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting our Furniture products and services. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and effectively upsell will be crucial to your success. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Utilize effective upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of current stock levels and product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
• Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the store is well-stocked and organized at all times.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail transactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage stock levels effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour
