Mid-Level VMware Engineer
Position: VMware Engineer (W2)
Location: Remote
Clearance: Not required (some positions may require clearance)

Salary Range: $110-130k DOE
Job Summary:
We are seeking mid-level VMware Engineers to join our team and support the design, deployment, and management of VMware virtualization solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and related technologies, and will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining virtualized environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and support VMware vSphere (6.7/7.x/8.x), NSX, vSAN, and related services.
- Manage and optimize virtualized infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for routine VMware operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to implement virtualization projects.
- Document VMware processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay current with VMware technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related products.
- Experience with NSX, vSAN, vRO, and vRA is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
