Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in and around Alameda, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience plus $180/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Troubleshooting electrical equipment and circuits using proper test instruments

• Maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and distribution panels

• Performing insulation resistance measurements to assess cable conditions

• Supervising and assisting in the installation or modification of shipboard electrical systems

• Managing spare parts inventory and submitting requisitions as needed

• Documenting system maintenance history, including details of repairs and alterations

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Marine or Industrial Electrician

  • Experience working with high voltage systems

  • Proficient in 480V and 208V AC 3-phase systems

  • Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment (e.g., Megger, VOM, amp meters)

  • Experience in operational testing of electrical equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals

  • Ability to create hand-drawn diagrams of disconnected or removed equipment
