Our client, a leading organization in facility maintenance and support services, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational needs. The ideal candidate will have versatility, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 2

Location: Chantilly, VA

Pay Range: $26.01 per hour

Shift: Must have open availability

What's the Job?

• Perform painting and wall covering tasks on interior and exterior surfaces
• Install, repair, and finish drywall and plaster
• Remove and reinstall furniture, equipment, and fixtures in work areas
• Inspect and repair damaged surfaces for remodeling projects
• Estimate project requirements and order materials accordingly

What's Needed?

• Experience in painting and wall covering on various surfaces
• Skills in drywall installation, repair, and finishing
• Ability to remove and reinstall furniture and fixtures efficiently
• Strong attention to detail for surface inspection and repair
• Knowledge of estimating project needs and material management
