Overview:
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Holding area at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA. This is a full time, day shift position.
$15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!
Hours
Monday - Friday: 4, 10-hour staggered shifts between 6:30am-9pm, or until all patients have been discharged
Day off will vary per week
Overview
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Education
Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma (Required)
BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
RN licensure (Required)
BLS within 90 days of hire
ACLS within 1 year
Experience
Strongly prefer previous acute care (ICU, ED, etc) or cath lab experience.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$30.38 - $55.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
