Position: RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.

• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.

• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

• Utilize performance metrics to enhance service delivery.

• Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately.

• Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.

• Adapt to changing environments and patient needs effectively.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia with Operating Room experience.

• Proven ability to assist in surgical procedures effectively.

• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in maintaining a sterile environment and safety protocols.

• Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly during surgery.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with medical staff.

• Experience in documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly.

• Adaptability to changing environments and patient needs.

• Engagement in team meetings to enhance patient care strategies.

• Willingness to assist in training and mentoring new staff.
