This Senior Software Developer role supports the ongoing operation and maintenance (O&M) of critical PHMSA applications. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and enhancing existing Java-based systems
• Working closely with business analysts and PMs to implement enhancements
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Participating in Agile sprints and backlog grooming
• Supporting integrations with Oracle databases and frontend Angular components

Required Skills:

• Java (Spring Boot)
• RESTful API Development
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Git, Jenkins, Maven
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Skills:

• Angular
• AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda)
• Docker/Containerization basics
• DevSecOps awareness
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance
