Role Overview

The SATCOM Engineering Support role provides advanced engineering-level support for NATO satellite communications systems. The position focuses on system design support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and operational readiness of SATCOM infrastructures.

The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in satellite communications, RF systems, and IP-based transport networks, with experience supporting NATO or multinational environments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide engineering-level support for SATCOM systems and associated subsystems
  
• Support design, configuration, integration, and optimization of SATCOM solutions
  
• Analyze system deficiencies and recommend technical solutions aligned with NATO standards
  
• Support maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management of SATCOM systems
  
• Assist with system performance monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and reports
  
• Support operational deployments, exercises, and project activities
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders, engineers, and operations teams to ensure mission readiness
  
• Provide technical briefings and status updates to leadership as required
  
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the contract
  

Requirements

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
  
• Demonstrated experience supporting SATCOM systems in operational environments
  
• Strong understanding of RF theory, satellite transmission, and IP networking
  
• Experience working in secure or classified environments
  
• Active NATO Secret clearance required
